Why a motorcycle is not a smaller car
In a car, everything delicate is hidden away. On a motorcycle it is in the open: electrical connectors, bearings, seals, brake lines, the radiator. A pressure washer aimed at the wrong place pushes grease out of a bearing or water past a seal — and the result shows up a month later, not straight away.
On top of that, within a few centimetres you can find paint, chrome, brushed aluminium, anodised parts, plastic and rubber. Each wants a different product, and the product for one can permanently dull another.
That is why a motorcycle has its own bay here, a different set of chemicals and a different pace of work than a car.

The scope
- Washing
- Soaking, gentle foam and hand work. No high pressure into steering head bearings, electrical connectors, suspension seals or the radiator. Insects on the front of the fairing are softened, not scrubbed off.
- Paint and fairings
- Polishing paint and plastics as far as their thickness allows — on fairings the paint is thinner than on a car, so we work more gently and with a smaller pad.
- Chrome and aluminium
- Exhaust, wheels, engine parts and spokes brought back with their own products. Brushed aluminium is treated differently from polished, because one pass can change how it looks permanently.
- Chain
- Cleaning and lubricating the drive with a product made for X- and O-ring seals. It is the one part of this work that affects how the motorcycle rides, not just how it looks.
- Protection
- A coating on paint and fairings and a product that protects the metals. Once protected, insects and road dirt come off during a wash rather than after twenty minutes of scrubbing.
- Seat and details
- The seat cleaned and conditioned according to its material; buttons, levers and instrument faces without products that leave a haze on plastic.

When it makes the most sense
- Before the season — after a winter in the garage, together with a look at the state of the chain.
- After the season, before it is put away: salt and dirt left on for the winter work away for four months.
- A motorcycle after a longer trip, with insects baked into the fairing and the paint.
- A machine being prepared for sale, where chrome and aluminium decide the first impression.
- A classic or collector's motorcycle, where what not to use matters more than what to use.

How to book
We take motorcycles by appointment, because one occupies a bay of its own. When booking, tell us what you are bringing and whether there are parts that must not be touched — polished aluminium, decals, matt paint or custom work. That changes the scope more than engine capacity does.

Do you do motorcycle detailing?
Yes. A motorcycle gets its own bay and a different set of chemicals than a car. The scope covers safe washing, polishing of paint and fairings, chrome and aluminium, protection with a coating, and cleaning and lubricating the chain.
Will washing harm the electrics and the bearings?
No, because we do not wash a motorcycle with high pressure. We work with soaking, gentle foam and by hand, avoiding electrical connectors, steering head bearings, suspension seals and the radiator. It is the most common cause of damage after washing a motorcycle and the easiest to avoid.
Can a ceramic coating go on a motorcycle?
Yes, on paint and fairings, while the metals get a separate product. The effect is the same as on a car: insects and road dirt come off during a wash. The ceramic coatings page has the detail on the coatings themselves.
Do you clean the chain, and is it safe for the seals?
We clean and lubricate it using products intended for drives with X- and O-ring seals. Universal products can be aggressive towards those seals, so we stay with dedicated ones.
I have matt paint and polished aluminium. Can you handle that?
Yes, but tell us when booking. Matt paint must not be polished to a gloss, and polished aluminium reacts differently from brushed. On machines like that we agree beforehand what we do not touch.
How long does motorcycle detailing take?
It depends on the scope and the state of the machine — usually between half a day and a day. We book in advance, because a motorcycle occupies a bay of its own. Call +48 780 722 221.
